Due to photography, lighting, screen settings and the nature of certain materials, there may be minor variations in colour, finish, texture or appearance between the product displayed on screen and the product received.

Such minor variations shall not ordinarily be considered defects.

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, technical error, system malfunction or other inadvertent mistake, House of Esmeralda reserves the right to cancel the affected order.

If payment has already been received for such an order, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method or through another appropriate method.

Once an order has been processed, packed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.

9. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Estimated delivery timelines displayed on the website are indicative and may vary depending on the destination, courier service, weather, public holidays, customs procedures and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, delivery is subject to the courier’s operations and timelines.

We shall not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, transportation disruptions, governmental restrictions, customs delays or other force majeure events.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.

For international orders, additional customs duties, import taxes, local taxes or other charges may be imposed by the destination country.

11. RETURNS, EXCHANGES & DAMAGE CLAIMS

11.1 No Returns for Change of Mind

House of Esmeralda follows a strict no-return and no-exchange policy for change of mind or personal preference.

Once an order has been placed and delivered, customers cannot request a return or exchange because they:

* Changed their mind;

* No longer want the product;

* Ordered the wrong product;

* Ordered the wrong size or style;

* Do not like the product after receiving it;

* Found another product they prefer;

* Purchased the product by mistake; or

* Have any other reason unrelated to damage or an issue attributable to House of Esmeralda.

We do not offer exchanges for change of mind or for any other preference-based reason.

11.2 Damaged Products

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, you must notify House of Esmeralda within 24 hours of delivery.

Damage claims received after 24 hours may not be accepted.

To report a damaged product, the customer must provide:

* Clear photographs of the outer shipping package;

* Clear photographs of the inner packaging;

* Clear photographs and/or videos showing the damaged product;

* A clear video of the package being opened, wherever available; and

* The order number and relevant details of the purchase.

The photographs and videos must clearly show the condition of the package and product.

Customers are strongly advised to record an uninterrupted unboxing video from the sealed package through to the opening and inspection of the product. This may be required to assess a damage claim.

11.3 Assessment of Damage Claims

All damage claims are subject to review and verification by House of Esmeralda.

Submission of photographs or videos does not automatically guarantee approval of a claim.

If the damage is determined to have occurred during transit or prior to delivery and the claim satisfies our requirements, House of Esmeralda may, at its discretion and subject to availability:

* Provide a replacement; or

* Provide an appropriate refund or other resolution.

The resolution offered will be determined based on the nature of the damage, product availability and the circumstances of the claim.

11.4 Exclusions

Damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, exposure to water, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals or other substances after delivery will not qualify as transit damage.

Minor variations in colour, finish, texture or appearance arising from photography, lighting, screen settings or the nature of the product shall not ordinarily qualify as damage.

12. JEWELLERY CARE & PRODUCT USE

Our jewellery and accessories are designed to be handled and cared for appropriately.

Exposure to water, perfume, cosmetics, sweat, chemicals, lotions, cleaning products and prolonged moisture may affect the appearance, finish or longevity of certain products.

Customers are responsible for following any jewellery-care instructions provided with their purchase.

Damage resulting from improper use, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, exposure to chemicals or failure to follow care instructions will not ordinarily qualify for return, replacement or refund.
